Website hosting and security

This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, provided by Cloudflare, Inc., USA. When you visit, Cloudflare processes connection and access data, including your IP address, request time, requested URL and browser/device information, to deliver content and protect against attacks and abuse. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: our legitimate interest in operating a secure and reliable website.

Cloudflare operates a global network; data may be processed outside the EEA, particularly in the USA. Its contractual terms and applicable transfer safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, are described in the Cloudflare Data Processing Addendum. See also the Cloudflare privacy policy. Technical data is processed for as long as needed for delivery, security and legal obligations; provider retention depends on the services and applicable terms.

Cookies, language and external content

Our website code uses no advertising or analytics services, externally loaded fonts, embedded maps or videos. It sets no cookies and does not store your language choice in browser storage; language is selected through the page URL. Necessary hosting security functions are unaffected. External links are contacted only when you follow them.

Email and telephone enquiries

We process your contact details and enquiry to respond to you. Contract-related enquiries are processed under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR; other enquiries under Article 6(1)(f), our legitimate interest in responding. Statutory retention obligations are based on Article 6(1)(c). Providing details is voluntary, but we may be unable to respond without sufficient contact and enquiry information.

We currently use the free consumer version of Google Gmail to receive email. Google therefore also processes messages and attachments, potentially outside the EEA. See the Google privacy policy for its processing, retention and transfer safeguards. Merely visiting this website does not connect you to Gmail.

We retain enquiries for as long as needed to handle them, perform a contract or establish, exercise or defend legal claims, and longer where statutory retention duties apply.

Your rights

Subject to the GDPR, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation. Any consent may be withdrawn with effect for the future. Please use the controller contact details above. We do not conduct automated decision-making, including profiling.

You may complain to a supervisory authority, particularly the Austrian Data Protection Authority, Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, Austria, email: dsb@dsb.gv.at.
